Photographic images are able to tell stories in a way that can catch attention to a certain audience or for everyone to see and relate to it somehow. The faster people can figure out the significance of the image, the more attention they will invest their time into the image. If they are not able to understand the image right away, their interest will quickly vanish and move onto the next thing. It forms a way to visually communicate to the audience and simply can be ruined by texture, medium, and composition of images. The primary focus for images to be seen is for communication between the one viewing and the message the image reveals to them. The secondary focus is how the image is manipulated through techniques to display images as being real. People think of some images to be fake because they will not be seen as real. This techniques can include composition of images, lighting, cropping, adding/removing elements, and many more. We alter the image with creative intentions to tell the story and make it worth relating to.
