Well, what can I say, we made it! The emotions are all over the place today, but I’m here for it all! I felt nervous, ready, and calm once the time came around for people to walk through the doors. I was ready to be done and to show off all I had learned from the past two years at Southeast Tech. As the industry people came in, it was so nice to talk with them because they understood the terms that are used within the design world and were able to carry a conversation that could impact the future of my classmates and me. It was something new and exciting, you could say. Then, once family and friends came, they helped to relieve some pressure and to carry us throughout the night. It was hard to stand around for multiple hours without sitting, so bring some comfy shoes for standing/walking!
