Last week I was talking about how I contacted BVMG, if you do not know what that means, reference from my last post. Keep up to date now!
Anyways, BVMG responded back and I was excited to read from what I saw. If you could imagine what they have said, you may be right.
They were happy to help me out with doing an interview, but they already found a graphic designer for the job posting I saw earlier, which is great. I contacted the general manager and she told me how this graphic designer has 20 years of experience in the field. She even offered to talk with herself (editor, manager, and publisher) and/or the advertising/marketing rep. I think the more the merrier to find out all I can, but it is also a lot to take on to feature in the magazine. So, I am focusing on just interviewing the graphic designer at the moment. Now, I am trying to find some time to interview with her. I am nervous, but eager to hear what she has to say.
Also, guess what else the manager had said to me…I will give you a second. She had said to keep them in mind for future employment, they might need a second designer! How exciting!
